My one big life vision was to live in the country and have a couple of horses. I finally realized that dream and met a partner, a horse trainer who shared that dream. I bought a house with some land and we bred a couple of horses. From the start, my partner with was hit many disasters. She had two major riding accidents resulting in a total 6 big surgeries including a hip replacement. She is still slowly recovering. With no family help or insurances, I had to support her financially plus caring for her, the horses and at a full time demanding consulting job. My partner will always be partial invalid...I am burnt out, very much in debt and fed up. My partner refuses to sell the one show horse which is costing me a fortune as she is very attached to the horse and it the one thing that pulls her along to recovery.

I am stuck in debt and in a situation I don't want....how can I change? I don't have the heart to kick my partner out. Any suggestions out there?

Sorry you had to go all through that. While you want her to be your partner at the same time, you must be firm in getting what you want or need out of this. What you described sounds like this is all at her mercy and not yours. Hope this helped.
