Recently I sold a successful business, after 17 yrs. It was a ladies retail store and I was ready for a change, and had someone intersted in buying it. Since then I have invested in a real estate investment and am renovating a house with a partner. While it is interesting and I have learned a lot, I have not touched on my artisitc passions and miss the financial and travel perks of owning my shop. I dream of having another shop in another area but not managing it like I use to. I have designed clothes for myself and still "play" with it but don't feel comfortable nor have the expertise to desgin my own clothing line.---lot of competition and $. I need to focus on a new career and find that I am "staying busy" being a wife and mother, but not feeling challenged.

It sounds like your life is in motion, even though you're not touching your artistic side (yet). Part of the journey is learning what you want to do in life and acknowledging the passions you feel for it. I used to think I always had to "arrive" before life was worth living. To me, part of the joy of life is discovering the pathways you are meant to walk on; appreciating the struggles and learning from them. It took me a long time and a lot of unnecessary heartache to understand that. Appreciate the wonderful journey you are on discovering yourself and who you are.
