Has anyone found it?
I have always been a person with dreams and a passion and able to make them a reality. I always knew what I wanted and how to make it happen, or so I thought. Now, a 44 y.o. single woman, childless, no family. I feel passionless and dull and I'm trying to find what makes my heart sing again. Is this a mid-life crisis? Lots has happened in my life in the past year or so... laid off after 18 years from a fabulous employer, unemployed for 6 months, had a relationship breakup after 6 mos, had a very challenging job that I had to abandon after 6 months (I'm employed again), my best girlfriends/activity buddies have settled down with their significant others, a significant amount of loss, etc. I consider myself a very upbeat person and able to make anyone smile, I still can. My life as I knew it has changed drastically and somewhere in there, I lost my spark. I have done extensive work on myself both spiritually and emotionally. I would dearly love to be in a loving relationship, but realize this would not fill my passion, my passion needs to come from my own spirit. So does anyone know of any great books to respark me? Wonderful words of wisdom? Or to share your own experience(s) with me and how did you do it? I'm open to hear what you have to share.
