Most of the posts I have read are of those with no children, I'm just the opposite. I have five. Four daughters and one son to be precise. They are all evenly spaced, oldest 13, then 9, then there are the twins 6, and only boy 2. I am feeling just overwhelmed most days. We get help occassionaly, but the rest of the time, I am by myself. My husband and I are self-employed which means during school breaks, the kids go to work with us. You have never experienced stress until your trying to sell a product, answer the ringing phone, and keep your 3 youngest children from running around the front floor all at the same time. Now that's entertainment. LOL. Anyone else out there dealing with a similar situation? I love my children, but most days they completely drain me. Angy.

Hi, I don't have any children; however, I do know what it means to be a child to a busy parent with 2 other children. Would it help any to have the 13 year old share in the responsiblities of taking care of the younger ones? Maybe give the 13 year old more responsibilities around the house. Sometimes more of the responsibilities fall on the mother; however, with help from the oldest child, responsibilities which require less work can be divided between the husband and the oldest child. I hope you find peace and organization in your life.
