Thank you so very much Kerri & Cheryl for setting up this forum. The Writer's Workshop was a wonderful experience, and the possibility of keeping the energy and support flowing through this community is gratifying. This definitely is a gift to us. :D:D

And, to all those with whom I was fortunate enough to share this writing journey, I hope to hear from you in the present moment to share what we learn, have learnt, will learn, and are learning (do we have any more verb forms to use :rolleyes:). Take care.

It was such a pleasure to be in a room...NO! on a cruise ship filled with lovely heart-centered folks. I met so many warm and wonderful people. What an amazing opportunity Louise Hay set up for us.

Thanks Louise. And thanks Cheryl for being our mentor. And thanks Christa for running around the room on those sun-burned legs so we could all be heard. ;)

I love Renee's idea of forming a writers' group. Anyone out there from San Diego who would like to be part of a writers' group? We can meet at my home in the Pt Loma / OB area.

Hi everyone again...

I love the idea of a writer's group. While we do have several writer's groups and affiliations in Vancouver (the North Shore Writer's Festival is this week for those of you on the Shore), I would love to create and co-facilitate a writer's group on the North Shore with those from Cheryl's workshop. Anyone who is interested, let me know.

We have a beautiful venue at the West Vancouver Memorial Library, looking over the ocean or toward the currently snow-capped mountains: in fact, the third-floor Children's Storyhouse is where I complete much of my writing. The location also offers the close walk to John Lawson Park or the Seawall for a more direct immersion in nature. Alternately, the Silk Purse Gallery (at John Lawson) offers space for various nonprofit groups who love a quaint seaside location.

In addition, to those forming groups in other cities, your times of and venues for meetings could be posted so that, if we are in the area, we can "drop by" for a visit (I am in San Diego quite regularly) -- just a possibility.:)
