Hi everyone,
I was just wondering if anyone has any new success stories to share as inspiration for the rest of us. It seems so long since the cruise, and I dearly miss the workshop with you Cheryl. I wish I had had more time to touch base with you all as there seemed to be an interesting, creative energy in the room, not to mention the ship.
For me, it's been "write, write, write" in the middle of looking after my son (6) & daughter (4), who had also joined me on the cruise. Robbie does his summer journal and Mary does her summer drawing journal as Mummy writes in her journal. I intend to submit one of the polished children's books (along with proper supporting documents) out before the end of the summer, so all looks promising.
In addition, I have been accepted to train as a Roots of Empathy (Mary Gordon) facilitator in September, and I will join the facilitators at my son's school in guiding the children through this wonderful program that complements the restorative justice practices that our school community began last year. Definitely, these are exciting times as a shift in our practices change and our children become authentic, empathetic stewards of this earth community.
I hope to hear from you all as the year passes.
Take care,
In spirit,
