I would like to stay overnight with my husband of 47 years in a very posh New York hotel and spend my morning in a day spa getting a massage, facial and makeover. Then I'd like to see The Producers and have a good dinner all decked out with my new look. I've just reached my weight loss goal of 12 pounds so I'm ready to go and celebrate. Hey I might actually do it! The thought of spending big money in 24 hours is the only thing holding me back.

It would begin with a load of planning. I would need a moving van or truck, a hearty breakfast, and a day to get all of stuff from all over the city moved into my storage unit. Then I would organize my "stuff" and finally feel like I am putting down roots.
I have been living out of boxes and suitcases and such for nearly two years and I think I should settle down.
I need the storage unit since my apartment is not very big and I could keep my holiday stuff and my seasonal stuff organized and handy...
I think that this is very doable. I am not so sure about the money for the moving van or truck, But I could do it with my car...YAY me!!!I have a goal

I would schedule a massage, and I would turn left as I came out of the massage room right into my chiropractor's chair. Once my body was all cozy and my head was back on straight, I would head for the beach. I would take along a sketch pad and writing book and allow myself to dream up all the possibilies. I wrote once about how the grains of sand are all so different and yet when you look down the beach they become one color. I would once again marvel at nature. I would stop on the way and fill a cooler with yummies (remembering all the great food at Miraval!!!!). I would recall the long summer days spent at the beach as a child and allow myself that sense of freedom and exploration. I'd bask in the beauty of the sea and it's breezes and then head home just in time to catch the end of Dr. Phil and watch Oprah! Someone would have snuck into my house while I was gone and completely cleaned and reorganized everything! I would smile and sit happily in my favorite chair snuggled up with one of my cats! "It's all good!"

I'm going all out.....
I'm living a wonderfully furnished home. I awake a half an hour before sunrise without distrubing my husband and make myself a pot of raspberry tea. I enjoy it on my deck while watching the sunrise. After watching the sunrise, I go down to the excerise room to workout for an hour.
I work in my home office for a couple of hours before seeing clients. After that, I teach a genetics class at the university. After seeing students after class, I stop off at the Center of Alternative Cancer Therapies just to check in. Things are running smoothly. The Center is following its mission to verify the efficacy of alternative cancer treatments.
I return home. My hubby is already home from work. We prepare dinner together and eat out on the deck. An hour and a half later, we take a walk or ride our bikes together. After that, we relax watching our favorite TV show or listening to music until it bedtime.
For me....this would be a perfect day

I would spend my fantasy day swimming with the dolphins -- it's a dream I've had for many many years and have ignored it for "more important" things. Now that I'm older and have had a heart attact and stroke and am on oxygen 24/7, my fantasy day may not be possible, but I still feel a strong pull to go do it. A part of my spirit knows I would be healed by this experience. I don't want to go with a group of other people, but I would like to have one person who understands how important this is to me, to be there to share it. I am pursuing it, but I still need some work done physically before I'll have the strength to do it without the oxygen tube.

My fantasy day: I wake up to an oceanview of the most beautiful crystal clear-turquoise waters. After a jog on the beach I head out for a swim with dolphins and a diving adventure with sharks and see beautiful coral life and colorful fishes. Then a beautiful sunset as I have dinner outside with my family. ohhhhh, I am there right now!(mentally , of course:)

It's Saturday, we are at the Cottage ( we don't have , yet ), on the lake (lake TBD), and we're all gathering on the HUGE porch to have breakfast. The gathering is of all different family members who decided to join us for the weekend. Everyone is going to set out do do watever they'd like for the day. It's a beautiful clear crisp weather day, we'll all hang out have good conversation and do fun things......canoeing on the lake or maybe water skiing or maybe hiking , golfing. We'll share what we like to do and we'll be "goofy" with the children. Noone will be stressed or worried and everyone will just be themselves. It will be a phenomally relaxing day. We'll all remember it as a real connecting fun experience of joy.
