Thank you so much for your prompt and insightful reminder of how vitally important and crucial Life Makeover Guidelines are for the success and continuance of the group. My problem at the very beginning was that I wanted to please everyone and be agreeable to everything that was said. I substituted NICE for being honest and setting limits and therefore gave away my power. The women in the group all became enablers of each other's negativity and lack of action...myself included. However, I mentioned many times to focus on our accomplishments and strentghts in the past in order to build upon them for future success.
I've realized what happens when you do not stand up for your life and you put others' needs before your own. Once again, I am grateful for your words of wisdom at a time when I needed to hear them the most.
