Beautiful Journal with Intricate Inlay

"My sister, Kerri, and I were out shopping one day and we decided to stop in to our local independent bookstore – Jabberwocky Books.  Our nephew, David, was leaving on a school trip to Peru, and Kerri wanted to buy him a travel journal so he could capture his experience in writing.

While poking around the store, I came across this interesting journal. I was first drawn to the beautiful ornate front, and upon further inspection, loved the smart design. It was small enough to fit in my bag, it had a ribbon to mark the page, an elasticized band to keep the journal securely shut, and a handy pocket in the inside back cover for carrying notes or receipts that tend to easily get lost.

This little book is so convenient! Keep a quick journal when traveling, capture great ideas, jot down notes of things to do, or keep track of helpful resources from friends and colleagues. It also makes a thoughtful gift, maybe as part of a self care basket for a loved one.
