Dear Friend

Our next Self Care by the Sea retreat is scheduled for the weekend of October 25th – 27th, 2019 at the Stage Neck Inn in York, Maine. Nestled on the coast between the Atlantic Ocean and beautiful York Harbor, it’s the perfect location for rest and renewal.

“You will be with you longer than anyone else
on the planet so why not make it a good relationship?”

These were the words world-renowned teacher, Louise Hay, shared with me years ago and I took her wisdom to heart. At the center of a rich and meaningful life is the ability to love yourself deeply and this weekend is dedicated to helping you do just that.

During Self Care by the Sea, we use an informal agenda designed for meaningful conversation, self-inquiry, ah-ha coaching, and plenty of laughter.

When you learn to love yourself, life changes – dramatically.

Here’s how:

  • You take regular, nonnegotiable time for your needs and desires.
  • You set healthy boundaries with others.
  • You no longer tolerate relationships that are inauthentic, one-way, or destructive to your Self.
  • You say no directly, firmly, and gracefully (and you don’t feel guilty about it).
  • You embrace all of your feelings and allow them to teach you about yourself.
  • You invest time, energy, and money in your personal growth because you know how important it is to keep evolving.
  • You have the discipline to maintain daily habits that keep you connected to your Higher Self.
  • You become less anxious and more adventurous (and who doesn’t want more of that!).

If this sounds like the kind of change you’re interested in, then I invite you to join us for this special weekend.

During the retreat we’ll use a variety of tools to support you – individual coaching to address your specific needs; partner exercises to uncover hidden desires as you connect with others in a meaningful (and memorable) way; and conversations that bring what’s unconscious to the surface so you can resolve the blocks that keep you stuck.

For part of the weekend I’ll be joined by my husband, Michael Gerrish, so we can combine intuitive guidance and coaching to help you make meaningful changes in your life. Michael’s readings are a great reminder that there’s more to life than meets the eye. Watching him deliver detailed, accurate information to guests is evidence that we all have access to a realm beyond what we can see. And, as a therapist and exercise physiologist who’s worked with people for more than thirty-five years, he’s able to uncover the hidden obstacles that keep people stuck.

Every retreat is a new experience filled with moments that shift your thinking about yourself and the world around you. Together we create an environment that’s healing and nurturing to inspire growth and positive change. If you’re in need of downtime, support, and fun, please give yourself the gift of this weekend.

The intention of this retreat is to help you examine your life and the areas where you need support, to restore your energy, and to learn new skills that allow you to love yourself more.

* In order to secure your spot, you must pay the $795 workshop fee in full. Please register only after you have checked the dates against your calendar to be sure you can truly commit to the retreat.

Past retreat participants tell us that, although they initially had some fears about paying the entire retreat fee up front, making the financial commitment bolstered their determination not to let anything get in the way of their self-care.

NOTE: Although we recognize the convenience of booking online, please book your room at the Stage Neck Inn by calling 207-363-3850 so you can identify yourself to the Inn staff as a retreat guest. This will ensure that you get our special rate and that the Inn has paperwork specific to the retreat (like buffet lunch sign-up forms) all ready for you when you check in.

This retreat is SOLD OUT

If you want to be among the first to know should we decide to open a few more spots in the retreat, please put yourself on the wait list.

IMPORTANT: The workshop fee is nonrefundable so please be ready to make this commitment to yourself. The fee is transferable, however, so if for some reason you choose not to attend, you’re welcome to sell or give your spot to someone else of your choosing. Should you do this, please be sure to let us know so we update our list of guests accordingly.

We’ve reserved a limited number of water view rooms so if that matters to you, be sure to reserve one right away. You can contact the Stage Neck Inn at: 207-363-3850 and tell them you’re with the Self Care by the Sea retreat.

Should you have any questions, please email my assistant, Nicole, at: [email protected]. She’ll take good care of you.

I look forward to spending the weekend with you in October!
